The Vagabond Guest House is family-owned and operated. It began its operation in 2011.

A temple for travelers, The Vagabond Guest House, a garden of earthly delights was founded by a mother-son team to give a unique experience to world's Vagabonders.
The son, who has travelled extensively around the world from a young age, wanted to share with his guests many of the wonders he himself has experienced in hidden corners of far away lands.
Mother, who runs day-to-day operations and supervises the courteous staff, is a native of Italy come to Cape Town to please Vagabonders and treat them simultaneously as kings and queens and family, as she would in her own home in picturesque village of Pinerolo, northern Italy.
